Breathing Under Water

After my husband's suicide attempt in 2019, I felt it was ever important for the families of Veterans with suicidal ideation, to hear the intricacies of the journey toward mental health.  We have learned so much and been presented with more hurdles than help.  We've had more agencies and intenties try to separate our family, than those try to support us toward a healthy journey including healing and togetherness.
I've been blessed to have my tribe. And we've been blessed to have the love and long-suffering to stay together. This book is recount of all the twists and turns that came after the gun charges and domestic violence cases closed. It's also an ode to my service in the Military and how I realized my own diagnosis of PTSD after my husband began his healing after his suicide attempt.
